      Description

      Caen Highland Township c1813.
Cean is located about a mile up the strath from the town of Helmsdale in Sutherland, north east Scotland. A joint project between ourselves and Timespan Museum and Arts Centre.

The reconstruction shows a snapshot of life in the highlands around 1800, at the time of the highland clearances. This interactive exhibit was created to share the rich heritage of the Helmsdale community across the Internet and in the Timespan museum. It is installed in Timespan as an immersive, Kinect driven exhibit.
