As a calypso devotee I do recognize that I am probably on my own in seeing some kind of connection between the Scottish musical style and repertoire of Will Fyffe and some of the old time Caribbean calypsoes. In the minority or not does however give me the excuse to put up his enchanting "wee" tale recorded c1932 of *The Landlord of the Pub in Aberfoyle* for another listen.
